The 16th ANNUAL HEALTHWORLD CONFERENCE — “Healthcare in Greece: Turning Around for the Economy and the Society”—took place on Wednesday, October 4 and Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel. The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE), the Association of Health Research and Biotechnology Industry (SEIV), the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and Medtech Europe.
HEALTHWORLD Conference once again proved its position as the leading health policy forum for constructive dialogue between experts from the academic/scientific community, the government, the medical community, HC sector professionals, representatives of international organizations and policy-makers.
The role that the health sector can and must play in two important and interrelated pillars, economic growth and social well-being and other key issues of the health sector were presented by high level speakers and discussed in depth by approximately 400 delegates taking part in discussions expressing their deep concerns regarding our country’s healthcare environment.
Sincere thanks to our distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad who honored us with their presence and contributed to the success of the conference, to our sponsors for their continuous help and support and to all participants for their active involvement.
