The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce participated at the 2015 Summer Fancy Food Show.

Our aim was to expand our network in the Food & Bevareges Industry in the USA; in order to support even further the bilateral trade. The Greek companies should consider the TradeUSA department of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce as their ally at their trade quest with the USA.

More precisely, we are organizing the Greek Delegation that will exhibit their product during the 2016 IDDBA Show (International Dairy-Deli-Bakery) in Houston Texas, USA.

WTO Extends the 1996 Information Technology Agreement

AmCham Greese salutes the agreement for the extension of 1996 Information Technology Agreement. On July 24, the European Union, the United States, China and the vast majority of the World Trade Organization (WTO) members agreed to extend the 1996 Information Technology Agreement (ITA), eliminating custom duties on 201 high-tech products in what is the biggest tariff-cutting deal brokered by the WTO in almost two decades. All in all, the deal will cover one trillion euros in global trade, covering close to 90% of world trade in the products concerned.

Annual General Assembly Meeting 2015

Amcham Greece at the California Chamber of Commerce International Trade Forum.

Amcham Greece Executive Director Elias Spirtounias participated as a panelist at the International Trade Forum organized and hosted by the California Chamber of Commerce. The panel discussed the potential benefits for the economy and employment in EU countries and the existing major concerns from the TTIP agreement.

Leadership Forum 2015

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with its Leadership Committee, has successfully organized the Leadership Forum 2015 Business Opportunities of the Future and the Development Of Entrepreneurship event, on Thursday May 14, 2015, 17.00 hours, at the American School of Classical Studies, Cotsen Hall.

The event was marked by great success and more than 220 guests (young people from educational institutions both public and private) attended this unique gathering. The purpose of these events is our young people to be informed from top managers and key business leaders on challenges and opportunities regarding careers and to promote young people’s spirit of healthy entrepreneurship and further help them in planning their professional orientation.
